We the Fatakgora Sarbojonin Jagadhatri Puja Committee (celebrating the 60th Diamond Jubilee of puja festival in 2012)– a dynamic well organized and strictly disciplined committee not only concentrate ourselves in the auspicious puja ceremony but also are dedicated towards may more social activities all the year through.

• Eye and body donation oath

• Free health check up

• Distribution of blankets to the poor

• Book distribution to the under privileged

• Puja parikroma for orphans

All these worth while activities are accomplished with spontaneous response and services rendered by over 300 committee members and esteemed gesture and generosity shown by various companions through their sponsorships. Apart from the financial support administrative help put forward by the Chandannagore Central Committee, West Bengal Police, State Electricity Boards, Eastern Railways, Chandannagore Corporation and the West Bengal Fire Services render all possible assistance

Our over all fascinating performance is well recognized through 10 pretigious prizes in the 57th year for our remarkable achievement in different sections of the entire festival awarded by respectable authorities and organizations.

The worship of goddess Jagadhatri symbolizes the victory of good over evil. It fosters a sense of fellow feeling, amity and good will among the people of all faiths. Let the tradition continue to crash communalism, hatred and immorality in order to create a sound and healthy society. Let the religious celebration be fare from bigotry and fanaticism as people from different hues community and class assemble here.
